Seminar participants at Barnes Textile Associates. Gelatin silver print, [195-?]. Image depicts 17 members (all men) participating in a Barnes Textile Associates seminar in an office in Boston, Mass. Barnes Textile Associates, a division of Bruce Payne Associates, Boston, was formed in 1910 and provided clients with objective analyses of problems and data on which to make decisions that would result in competitive production. All are identified on the reverse of the photograph, including representatives from American Woolen, Goodall-Sanford, Cranston [Print Works?] and Bemis, as well as one man from South America. 25.25 x 20.25 cm.
