Description:
Dress; ivory silk brocade with polychrome floral motif, open robe a l'Anglaise, late 18th century. Spitalfields silk. Linen lining. Ivory silk brocade is embroidered with small boquets of pink and green flowers. Dress is an open robe a l'Anglaise. Bodice has a five button closure (one button is missing). Cartidge pleats at back of waist. Elbow length sleeves have cuffs trimmed with green scalloped cording. Dress shows signs of alteration.
